Design journalist and creative consultant Anne-Maree Sargeant studied Interior Design at RMIT University prior to embarking on a career marketing design brands such as B&B Italia, Cassina, Kartell, Established & Sons,and FontanaArte to name a few. From this unique experience AMS amassed specialist industry knowledge about product, design, manufacturing, and the innovators behind the brands.
Widely published, AMS has penned articles in a range of media -The Sydney Morning Herald, Monocle, and INDESIGN among the many titles. Currently she is editor-at-large of BELLE, and Australian contributing editor for SURFACE Asia.
As director of her own creative agency, AMS consults to innovative designers, brands and manufacturers. Taking an innovative approach to creative marketing initiatives and focusing on brand and product development, AMS is engaged as an independent project manager.

For designEX 2012 AMS has been invited to curate The NEST – a showcase of the hottest Australian design talent, The HIVES, and will host on-site events.
